Why You Feel Sleepy At Work

Dozing off in the office has gradually crept into the way of life of most office workers over the years.

A new study has made it known that quite a lot of people with a white collar job all over the world today cannot stop dozing off at work; a phenomena which limits output at work.

However, sleeping at work signifies sleep deprivation and this can lead to so many things flaw at the
workplace. Here are a few things according to TimesofIndian, you can do to help yourself if you sleep every day at work….
1. Exercise regularly and go for brisk walks in a park.
2. Take short breaks every couple of hours. During this break, take a walk around the office premises to refresh your mind.
3. A healthy diet will increase your energy levels.
4. Dim the bedroom lights before retiring for the night.
5. Include foods with Omega-3 fatty acids in your diet. A recent study conducted in the UK found that people with higher Omega-3 had better sleeping patterns.
6. Avoid too much caffeine or sugar.
7. Don’t watch television or browse the internet on your laptop or mobile phone before bedtime.
8. Don’t use the same bedsheets for more than a week.
9. Avoid late night workouts.
